Medical Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion
There are certain people who adore the idea of ‘scrubbing away’ all imperfections. Those individuals will probably love Microdermabrasion. Medical Microdermabrasion with the Delphia system offers a beneficial skin health restoration. People with all skin types can be treated with this system.

How does it work?
Through the use of gently abrasive crystals combined with an air system, the Microdermabrasion treatment gently removes the upper layer of dead skin cells. Removal of dead tissue brings the healthy underlayer of skin to the surface, encouraging collagen regeneration & healthy cell rejuvenation. Microdermabrasion can be performed to almost any part of your body.

An effortless way to shed any problem skin

Uses
Reduction of age spots & pigmentation

  • Minimizes fine lines & wrinkles
  • Reduction of enlarged pores
  • Decreased appearance of scars from trauma, acne, chicken pox, blackheads, etc
  • Treatment of skin damaged by long-term exposure to sun

Your experience
Microdermabrasion treatment takes approximately 30 minutes, does not require anaesthetic & is a relatively painless procedure. You can resume to your normal daily routine immediately after the procedure. To achieve optimal benefits, six treatments, weekly or every two weeks are initially recommended, most patients see improvement after the fourth session. These treatments are likely to be combined with medical strength skin peels & skincare products to maximise the overall results. Following the initial series, periodic maintenance treatments (every 4 - 6 weeks, depending on the skin condition) are sometimes recommended.

Side effects
The skin will go red immediately afterwards but fully recovers after several hours. No serious side effects have been reported after Microdermabrasion treatment.

The results
Quite often, Microdermabrasion benefits are apparent after only one treatment, although combination of treatments with customised Skin Peels may be  necessary to achieve the long term desired result. When treating scars, pigmentation and photoaging multiple treatment are necessary.
